Glock 48 Mos Plates - The Glock 48 was an excellent idea. The Glock 19 has been the standard bearer for Glock series pistols for decades. Despite being the perfect height and length for many, the gun found itself a little chubby. The Glock 48 was the slimmer variant. The Glock 48 is basically a single-stack Glock 19 matched to this near-perfect height and length with a significant reduction in width. In fact, if you're interested, we've written an excellent article on the Glock 48 and Glock 19.
The Glock 48 shares a typical ten-round clip with the Glock 43X, the barrel is slightly longer and the additional barrel length adds bullet velocity. Read on for the best Glock 48 MOS review you can find. Note. If you're interested in the little sibling of this pistol, we also have an in-depth review of the Glock 43X MOS.
Glock 48 Mos Plates

The Glock 48 was a great pistol, but now Glock is making it a little better by giving it the MOS treatment. The Glock 48 MOS variant now includes integrated optics. The slider is cut for the micro red dot Shield RMSc. The Glock 48 has a very thin slide, so it can't accommodate most red dot sights. The good news is that the red dots are running low and we now have the Shield RMSc, Swampfox Sentinel, Holosun 507K and SIG Romeo Zero.

The Glock 48 MOS and improved optics are a welcome addition to the Glock 48 pistol. That's not the only change Glock has made to the 48 Series pistols, and today we're going to explore all the major changes and see where the Glock 48 MOS stacks up. up with modern carry guns.
The Glock 48 was first shown with a sleek, elegant and attractive silver stainless steel finish. I think this was a great choice and gives the new Slimline pistols a different look. The Glock 48 MOS went for a more discrete, less reflective black finish. Perhaps this was a good idea for a pistol designed to improve optics. Reducing reflections wherever possible is a good idea for an optically enhanced rifle.
The Glock 48 MOS uses an nDLC coating. This is a very hard, diamond-like coating. It has a high hardness of 3000 HV. The tennifer finish of the old Glocks was only half that. These are the same coatings that protect Glocks in service all over the country and the world, so they are proven and reliable. The gap created by the removable MOS plate is barely noticeable and sits cleanly and perfectly on the sled when the optics are not engaged.
The black bezel is a timeless and simple Glock design. The good news is that it works, looks professional and is no frills. You will find that many minimalist brands have large markings where the polymer molds meet, but this is not available on the Glock series pistols. The Glock 48 MOS gives a beautiful, professional black look on black. We also have the perfect professional concealed carry Glock 48 MOS case for you to carry your Glock.

As I mentioned earlier, the Glock 48 MOS is basically a Glock 19 on a diet. This slim and elegant pistol is 0.16 inches thinner than the Glock 19 with an overall width of 1.10 inches. The Glock 48 is slightly shorter than the 19 at 7.28 inches but manages to pack a slightly longer barrel at 4.17 inches. This slightly longer barrel allows the rifle to be sold in Canada without modification. Previously, the barrels of the Glock 19s were slightly elongated for sale in Canada.
The Glock 48 MOS holds ten 9mm rounds, and the Glock 48 MOS is compatible with Shield Arms' new clip. Shield Arms manufactures a metal magazine capable of holding 15 rounds in its handy design. This gives the Glock 48 a dose of the firepower of the Glock 19. Since this is an aftermarket magazine and I have no way of proving its reliability.
The Glock 48 MOS weighs 24.97 ounces when fully loaded, which is about 5 ounces lighter than the Glock 19. The Glock 48 MOS has a height of 5.04 inches, which will increase depending on the optic selected.

There's a lot of good stuff in the ergonomics section of the G48, but there's also some bad stuff. Let's start with the bad. The bolt lock sucks. I think all Glock slide locks work and the problem is their placement and design. They are pretty far back and are effectively held by my thumb with a forward thumb grip. The Glock 48 and G48 MOS are no different, and the slide lock is nearly useless in my hands. We'll cover all the ergonomics in this Glock 48 MOS review.
What Are My Options For Rds On My 43x Mos?
The great news is that Glock has redesigned the back of the pistol to incorporate a small tailstock into the pistol grip design. This protects your hands from slipping and allows you to grip the gun high and comfortably. This makes a huge difference in the design of the gun and makes it more comfortable, at least for me.
The Glock 48 MOS is a slim pistol, but I'm not sure if I can describe it as a compact subcompact. I guess Glock calls it the perfect slim pistol. It is much more compact in size and as a compact pistol it is highly controllable and very comfortable to shoot. The slim design makes it ideal for shooters with small hands and allows them to maximize their grip on the gun. I enjoy the lack of finger grooves on the gun and find the punctuation very nice. For advanced control, I prefer the strongest setting.
The Glock 48 MOS is well suited for combat use and has a simple built-in security system. There is no need to think about disabling security; It is automatically disabled when you pull the trigger. The simple design of Glock pistols also makes it easy to customize and you can make the gun your own. Dropping a new trigger, sights, extended magazine releases, and other upgrades is relatively easy and can be done at home.
The modular optics is the most obvious design change to the Glock 48 MOS. Many may not understand why the red dot on the gun is so important. This is understandable and does not have to be. However, shooters using optically enhanced firearms have been shown to be faster, more accurate and more capable in low light conditions. The Red Dot Optic in the pistol does not require sight alignment, so firing the anchor point is easier and faster. New shooters can benefit from the red dot gun. All they have to do is place the red dot on the target and pull the trigger. Dive in to find all the special features in this Glock 48 MOS review.

Admittedly, for those of us who have devoted a lot of time to iron sights, getting to the red dot takes time, practice, and lots of ammo. Still, it's a pass worth making, and the red dot adds a lot of potential to the shooter, including for long-range shots.
Another noteworthy new feature is the addition of a short Picatinny rail to the G48 MOS. This small section of the bar allows you to equip your weapon with ultra-compact gun lights, lasers and training devices. Surefire offers a compact semi-compact gun light ideal for the Glock 48 MOS. They are not the only mini makers on the market and this seems to be another growing trend. The rail was supposed to launch with the original Glock 48, but I think it's better late than no delay.
The Glock 48 MOS features the same high-profile follower found in Gen 5 rifles. We also get a grooveless grip, reversible magazine release, as well as front and rear serrations. Forward notches make it easy to operate the slider when the gun is equipped with a red dot sight. Glock thinks this pistol is very good and appears to have designed it to be a competent and functional combat pistol.

The Glock 48 works almost the same as the Glock 19. The thinner grip is more comfortable for me and probably for most people. The grip still flatters the hand and makes it a very comfortable option for a concealed carry pistol. I hate hanging pinky fingers and the G48 and G48 MOS pistols provide an easy and reliable grip on the pistol. This keeps the gun on target, especially when shooting fast. The addition of a small beavertail allows you to get a nice high grip on the pistol without the slip bite. This Glock 48 MOS review covers all the features.

The Glock 48 is a shooting pistol that is very easy to use, like a larger gun. It replaces the recoil well and painlessly. Loads stronger and more powerful than Glock 48 MOS to handle self defense with ease. MOS is an essential part of this gun and the gun works
